There are several pages on the web showing how to modify a servo for continuous rotation.
As I did it successfully, here is how I did it.
1) Open completely your servo and extract the potentiometer:
2) Replace the potentiometer with a 4K trimmer
3) Give power to the system and using your servo controller set the position to the normally corresponding at
the neutral. If using a radio trasmitter remove any fine trimming or set the position to 127 if using any standard RS232/USB
servo controller.
Adjust the trimmer so to be the closest possible to 0V out.
4) Close the bottom part.
5) Take the cogwheel shown in figure, we need to remove the physical block

6) Close everything
